John and Mathilda married on Mon Jul. 11, 1881 in St. Mary's, Champlain, Ny. Mathilda E. is the daughter of Paul (Paulite) Hipolite Faneuf and Marie Louise (Mary) Tallard. John was a Journeyman & also worked at CV Manufacturing Co. 1911 on South St. in I.O., MA. I was told they met while he was working on the Rutland Railroad but I only have proof that his brother Tuffield worked on the Railroad. They did live on the same block though.

Notes on John Noro (Narrow)
Mathilda and John Nareau set out from Malone, NY to the Gold Rush in California. Mathilda was pregnant on this journey and ended up giving birth in Mankato, KS to a son Frank. Because of the unexpected expense of his birth, they had no choice but to go back home to Malone, NY and later moving to Stony Hill Rd. in Wilbraham, MA.
